The Vital Health clinic is a health service for anyone who identifies as sexually or gender diverse, such as Sistergirl, Brotherboy, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender diverse, non-binary, intersex, queer, questioning, asexual, pansexual, and beyond, including non-western gender identities. We want you to feel welcome and supported to access this service.
The Vital Health clinic is located in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) CBD, in a building with other health services. It is currently on the ground level and is wheelchair accessible. There are disabled car parking spaces. You enter into a waiting room with chairs, and a reception desk with an admin staff who can answer your questions and direct you to your appointment.
You will need to give the reception staff your surname and your appointment time. You may also be asked for your medicare card number, or the name of the doctor you have an appointment with. If you are a new patient, you will need to fill in a new patient form, you can get this from the reception desk and give it back to them once you have filled it in.
You can book an appointment online through Hot Docs, by email vitalcollective@gmail.com, or by calling the phone number (08) 8952 1088. You can decide if you want your appointment to be private or you can ask for support to access the clinic, which could include peer navigation or advocacy.
